Tobin, ESRI team (June 2000)
Tobin launches on-line data catalogue of digital map products as part of ESRIsGeography Network.
Tobin International, a supplier of land management data and software, has released its Online Data Catalog (ODC). Offering a complete e-business solution to landmen, ODC is built on ESRIs ArcIMS web mapping technology. Users can browse maps, query spatial objects and create visual representations of coverage.

The ODC is a portal into over 6TB of Tobins digital map products. Other recently announced Tobin products, BaseMap USA and OverVue have been released as part of the ESRI Geography Network. BaseMap USA is a GIS-ready digital land base of the lower 48, Alaska and the offshore GOM. OverVue adds GIS-referenced imagery, graphics and terrain information.
Schardt
Tobin joins ESRI for the launch of the Geography Network. Tobins Marty Schardt said, "The magnitude of offering data and map services to the largest collection of GIS users in the world is incredible. We plan to deliver many new products to enhance the Geography Network as this rapidly changing technology continues to evolve."
