PetroCosm teams with NetworkOil and Petrobras (February 2001)

PetroCosm has selected NetworkOil, as exclusive provider of oilfield surplus equipment acquisition and sales services to PetroCosm in the U.S.A and Canada. PetroCosm will feature NetworkOil on its web site allowing member companies to link directly to NetworkOil through PetroCosm's marketplace.

Chambers

PetroCosm president and CEO Norman Chambers said “This alliance will accelerate our ability to offer a full range of services beyond procurement and process integration.” NetworkOil’s CEO Stuart Page added “This agreement increases the NetworkOil asset base and gives our members wider access to quality surplus equipment.”

PetroBras

In a separate agreement, PetroCosm has entered a joint venture with PetroBras to create a B2B eCommerce Marketplace for the Brazilian oil and gas industry.

Nunes

Petrobras Materials Executive General Manager Joao Carlos Soares Nunes said “Our procurement process and supply chain management will be enhanced by PetroCosm's Marketplace solution, while allowing us to reduce our overall operating expense.”�
