Industrial Defender signs OEM agreement with GE Energy (June 2009)

GE Energy and Industrial Defender have signed a global OEM agreement, whereby GE will offer Industrial Defender’s technology suite along with its Smart Grid automation technologies including energy management systems, distribution management systems and substation automation solutions. The Industrial Defender technology suite is a value-added solution that helps utilities meet cyber security and NERC CIP regulations. This alliance enables utilities to address cyber-security issues and secure the emerging ‘Smart Grid’ roadmap, enhancing reliability, availability and efficiency of the power grid.
